Reimagining the Web3 Wallet Experience
When crypto startup Bloom approached us to start their transformation from an existing open-source wallet into an intuitive consumer-grade multi-chain solution, we saw massive potential for improvement through strategic design thinking.

Executive Summary
Bloom, an ambitious startup born from the Firefly wallet team, sought to revamp its UX and embrace the multi-chain future. Partnering with Digital Zen, we embarked on a transformative journey. Together, we spearheaded extensive research and experience definition, crafting a user-centric vision for Bloomwallet.io.
This initial zero to one stage included PoC product ideation, product planning, wireframing, brand and UI design. Utilising expert validation and collaboration, the outcome was a user-centric SaaS platform with unique features aimed at improving efficiency, transparency, and accessibility.

Brand Comms
Having sourced talented brand designer Larkef, the Bloom team collaborated with Digital Zen to brief and review the ongoing brand exploration. We explored unique ideas around “impossible shapes” delivering some inspirational concepts that were paired down to a striking and contemporary “bloom flower”. This informed the overall palette and direction.
Website Strategy
Digital Zen worked with UI artist Tam to conceptualise the website look and feel. Digital Zen directed the core communication, UX and layout, while Tam took his expertise to the visuals, adding some unique illustrations paired with interactive elements with input and feedback from Andrew and the Bloom team.

Implementation
Improving control of digital assets
Through a number of wireframes and UI development stages, we crafted layouts that offered improved clarity and control. The dashboard needed an improved take to take the visibility and management of assets to a modern standard. Through a series of concept evolutions, we explored layouts and interactions to redefine standards for a one-stop asset management platform.
Decentralised voting
Beyond seamless transactions and NFT management, Bloomwallet.io presents an intuitive governance voting section. Gone were the days of cryptic proposals and cumbersome interfaces. We crafted a clear, visually engaging experience that empowered users to actively participate in Bloom's future.
Storing NFTs
Andrew forwarded the direction to showcase a dedicated section for users to showcase, manage, and explore their prized digital assets. We created a visually stunning, intuitive space where users could proudly display their collections, complete with captivating thumbnails, detailed information overlays, and convenient filters for easy browsing.
Connecting users with dApps
WalletConnect is a popular third party service that links your wallet to Web3 dApps. This is typically a weak spot for users and security was paramount. By making Wallet Connect integration smooth, secure, and easy to understand, Andrew ensured that Bloomwallet.io wasn't just a place to store assets, but a launchpad for users to begin their journey with Web3 confidently through the boundless frontiers.

Impact
To understand the user acceptance and validate the early stage product market fit, Andrew helped the Bloom team to shape and deploy a strategic Google survey campaign. This survey explores key metrics like user satisfaction, ease of use, and feature adoption. Over 96% would recommend to friends with a 4.4 star satisfaction for the very first release.
High user acceptance rates, low friction points, and great feedback painted a clear picture: Bloomwallet.io is a hit. By using a data-driven approach to user validation, Andrew and Bloom to continuously refine the experience, ensuring ongoing improvement of Bloom.
